How does the process of moving in and moving out look like?
Moving in: The future resident must present himself with an identity document, after checking in, you can go to the warehouse and rent bed linen, a lamp, etc.
Moving out: When you move out, you have to account for the cleaning of your room to a member of the Residents' Council, to the storehouse and to the Residents' Council for borrowed items, and finally to the administration.
Kitchens’ description
There is a kitchen on each floor of the dormitory. Each kitchen has four hobs with 4 burners per hob. Additionally, there are two ovens.
Bathrooms’ description
There are two co-ed bathrooms on each floor (four toilets and three urinals).
On the first and second floors there are also women's bathrooms with showers.
On the -1 floor there are bathrooms with showers for men and women.
Common rooms and utility spaces:
- TV room: located on the ground floor opposite the administration. The room can be used daily by prior arrangement with the room supervisors. The TV room is open to all residents. The room is used for students to watch movies or sports events. In the hall is a projector and there is internet access. - Quiet study rooms: is located on the first floor in room 124a and is open to all residents. It's a quiet space for students to study. Internet access is available. The room open 24 hours a day. The room supervisor: Karolina Spychel (318)
- Trial and Error Room: located on floor -1. The Trial and Error Room is open from Monday to Friday from 2:00 p. m. to 10:00 p. m. and on weekends from 8:00 a. m. to 10:00 p. m. The soundproof room is intended for the rehearsals of instrumental players. The key can be picked up at the reception after you have passed the training and reservation. - Game room: located on the 4th floor in room 424a, there is a TV and two sofas, a room that is ideal for chilling, meeting with friends, playing games on the console, etc. The key can be borrowed from the room supervisor after the resident card has been deposited. - Bicycle storage: located on the ground floor opposite the stairs, you can leave the bike there for the duration of residence. Once your place has been confirmed, a list will be drawn up and you can collect the key to the room from reception. The room supervisor: Gaspar Błaszczyk (341)
- Gym: It is located on the ground floor next to the stairs, there is training equipment such as a multi-gym, running crane and free weights (dumbbells, barbells, plates) and small equipment such as skipping ropes, rubber and balls. Admission is open to persons who have previously registered with the supervisors. After enrolment, people are given access and can enter using their student ID. - Parking: temporarily unavailable
- Basketball and volleyball court: on the patio, open from 7 am to 11 pm. Equipment can be hired from the Residents’ Council.
Laundry and drying room
The laundry room is located on floor -1, there are 3 washing machines and 1 dryer. Washing costs PLN 5–5.77, drying costs PLN 2–2.31 for 35 minutes or PLN 4–4.61 for 70 minutes. Payment can be made in cash or via online bank transfer.
Internet access:
Internet access in rooms is provided via a wired connection. You must have an Ethernet cable. Connecting your own Wi-Fi access points is prohibited.
During check-in, collect a token from the administration. After connecting the device to the network, create an account on the website https://net.ds.pw.edu.pl and register the device. If you want to connect more devices, fill in the form on the website and contact the IT Centre.
In some places in the corridor, there is access to the pw.edu.pl and eduroam Wi-Fi networks.

Information on recycling, waste disposal
The containers are located outside on the patio next to the basketball court.
What is best to take with you from home before your arrival?
Kitchen equipment: dishes, cutlery, pots, kettle, etc.
What is not worth taking, because it is provided by dormitory or Residents’ Council?

Types and description of rooms
All double rooms are separate (no segments). Standard equipment: two beds, two desks, two chairs, 2/3 wardrobes, a kitchenette with a fridge, sink and cabinets.
Infrastructure around the dormitory
Nearby there are Żabka and Carrefour, there is a parcel locker next to the dormitory. About 5 minutes from the dormitory there is the Wola Park gallery. There is a church and a post office nearby etc.
How to report technical faults?
There is a fault book at the reception desk where you can enter broken things. They can also be reported directly to the repairmen.
Rules for hosting guests:
Between 7 am and 11 pm, simply go down to the reception to collect your guest, show your resident card and enter their details in the visitors’ log.
To extend a guest’s stay overnight, you must obtain permission from the Residents’ Council in one of two ways. The first is to complete the form available at sspw.pl/noclegowki. Once the application has been approved by a member of the Residents’ Council, the guest must sign in the system. The information is then forwarded to the reception. The other method is to fill in a paper overnight stay form and obtain a signature from a member of the Residents’ Council. You must take the completed and signed form to the reception by 11 pm.
A guest may stay on the hall of residence premises for a maximum of 3 consecutive nights, or 5 nights in a month.
